The houses are beginning to emerge

Today was joyful when the houses began to take shape in their new homes.  It is a daunting task finding suitable sites for them.  The Fairies will only allow it to be where they want it. Each one is individual and will in time take on its own identity.

 What magic this one conjures!

Early days yet. But happy days.

 

I spotted a lot of horse hoof marks on the trail.  I expect that the Fairies will find some discarded horse shoes.  Wonder will they try making houses from them.  Wait and see!

A way with the Fairies

It is all happening! Years of fascination with the world of miniatures is bringing us to a new Fairy World. My artist friend Georgina and me are about to embark on one of the most exciting projects of our creative lives. We are two like minded creative people who understand each others way of thinking. Creating a Fairy Trail in the most beautiful Town Park in Templemore Co Tipperary Ireland is like working on the biggest canvas one can imagine.

It all began with walks in the Park and observing the beautiful nooks and crannies created by nature in the trees.  This Park is very old and has the biggest trees you can imagine.  All varieties.  I am posting one photo today to get you thinking.

 

Where will the Trail begin?

 

Over the next few months we hope to create this Trail and will post clues as we go.  If you happen to be in the Park see can you spot them. The trail map will be launched in early 2014 when it is all finalised.
